Other than that, I'm going to ask that the 22 public hearing regarding the change in the B-2 and B-2A 23 zoning district be removed from the agenda without any 24 objection. And we're also going to 6 have you -- we're also going to be having some 7 discussion regarding some of the public hearings we had 8 last month. 9 For those of you tonight that are here for the 10 public hearing, you'll have to get up, state your name, 11 your address, and because it's such a small group 12 tonight, you can just stand up in place. I don't see 13 that there's any reason why you need to come forward; 14 but you'll have to speak loud enough for the court 15 reporter to hear you. 16 Also, when it comes time for discussion on the 17 old business this is a continuation of the public 18 hearing, but during the discussion period in old 19 business, this is not a forum for the public to speak. 20 And those public hearings that have gone to discussion, 21 those -- the public has already spoken, and it's time 22 for the board to discuss their views. 23 So with that being said, public hearing 24 regard -- do I have a motion to open the public hearing EFFICIENCY REPORTING 630.682.8887 www.EfficiencyReporting.com 4 1 regarding the change in the P-1 zoning district? 2 MR. The requested change is in 10 regard to the P-1 zoning district. Currently the P-1 11 zoning district states it's only for property owned by 12 DuPage County. 13 We have actually rezoned and annexed two 14 properties: Winwood Park and Pleasant Hill Park. And 15 we have zoned those both P-1 with the intent that any 16 public land owned by a government body would be zoned 17 P-1. 18 And so what we're requesting that you -- that 19 you consider is changing P-1 to include -- changing P-1 20 to include all government bodies such as the village, 21 park district, fire district, anything along those 22 lines. 23 CHAIRMAN MORTENSON: Okay. 24 Is there anyone in the audience tonight that EFFICIENCY REPORTING 630.682.8887 www.EfficiencyReporting.com 5 1 wants to speak in regards to the P-1 zoning district? 2 Second time: 3 Is there anyone in the audience tonight that 4 wants to speak in regards to the P-1 zoning district? 5 Okay.
