Mission Statement:
The mission of the Winfield Police Department is
to consistently deliver the highest level of professional law enforcement
services to our community, while assisting in preserving peace and preventing
criminal activity through effective partnerships with the citizens we proudly
serve.
Department Goals:
- Public Safety: Ensure the safety and security
of all citizens, property owners,
employees and visitors by fairly and impartially upholding the
Constitution and laws of the United States of America, the State of
Illinois and the Ordinances of the Village of Winfield.
- Community Partnership: Develop meaningful
partnerships with the community to effectively problem solve and address
quality of life issues.
- Customer Service: Demand a high level of
customer service by all our employees of all interactions with the people we
serve.
- Professionalism: Strive for a high level of
professionalism by encouraging career development and continuing education
of all department members.
