Clean Air Counts Program
On October 4, 2007, the Winfield Village Board unanimously approved an ordinance in support of the Clean Air Counts Initiative.  This ordinance was drafted by the Village’s Environmental Concerns Commission, which is currently researching programs that can be implemented by the Village and will be applying for membership in the Clean Air Counts Program.  By joining, members are making a commitment to undertake voluntary efforts to reduce smog in the Chicago Region.  Residents and business owners will begin to see information from the Village regarding air quality and energy management tips and programs.  For more information, please visit www.cleanaircounts.org.
