Permit Parking

The Village of Winfield has two Permit Parking Lots for commuter parking which require quarterly permits.

  • Jewell Road lot, located to the east of the Winfield Village Hall at 27W465 Jewell Road.
     

  • Church Street Lot, located on the corner of Chicago Avenue and Church Street, just south of the Union Pacific Railroad tracks.

Parking in Permit Parking Lots requires a permit, which is $90.00 per quarter.  For further information regarding any of these lots please contact the Village Hall at (630) 933-7100. 

All permits for Permit Parking Lots must be renewed before the end of each Quarter. Renewals payments can be made in person; dropped off in the Village Collection box; or processed by mail, allowing enough time for postal delivery of renewal payment and return of permit to holder.

Daily Parking

 The Village provides all day parking spaces for a $2.00 daily fee. Metered spaces are located at the High Lake Road Lot, west of the Post Office; on Chicago Avenue, south of the Union Pacific tracks; on the east side of Church Street, south of Beecher; and in the Metra daily parking lot just east of Jewell Road permit lot. The fee should be deposited in the collection box using the corresponding number of the parking space you use.

There are 257 daily parking spaces available in the Village at a first come, first serve basis.  The following is a list of available parking locations and daily fees:  Daily Parking Permits can now be purchased for $90.00 per quarter to allow commuters to pay quarterly and not have to bother with depositing coins in the pay box on a daily basis.  These Daily Parking Permits are for the Daily Lots only.
