The 50-50 Tree Planting Program Brochure for 2013 is now available! Enrollment begins immediately and operates on a "first come- first served" basis. Residents are reminded that program funds are limited. Please submit your application as early as possible to ensure participation in the program this year. If you have any questions, please reference the Frequently Asked Questions list provided below, or call Village Hall at (630) 933-7100.
STORM ASSISTANCE INFORMATION - Saturday, MAY 11, 2013
We just received word from the Governor's Office that DuPage County was included in a Presidential Disaster Declaration, enabling residents to apply for Individual Assistance.
Residents can apply for federal disaster assistance by visiting www.disasterassistance.gov or by calling 1-800-621-FEMA (3362).
FEMA will be opening a Disaster Recovery Center (DRC) on Thursday, May 16th at the Lisle Police Department, at 5040 Lincoln Avenue. The operating hours for the DRC will be from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. daily, including weekends, until further notice.
Please note that the assistance offered via the DRC locations is identical to assistance available to residents who register via phone or Internet. As such, residents may find it more convenient to apply for assistance by calling 1-800-621-FEMA, or by going online to www.disasterassistance.gov. VILLAGE BURNING RESTRICTIONS
Village Code (4-2-6-A) prohibits the burning of landscape materials. Recreational burning permits are required in some situations and must be applied for a week in advance. You may view the entire portion of the Village Code that applies to burning restrictions by clicking the tab on the left.
